Monday – No racing, it’s a holiday Monday. Track is open and rumour has it that a few of our track dads spent their long weekend working on it ahead of next week’s work bee, if you still want to take your kiddos for some laps.

Work Bee
Our first track work bee will be next weekend! Get your mandatory work bee out of the way by joining us Saturday or Sunday (or both days!!). Please note that this weekend we will have both bobcats & the roller working on the track, plus the potential for dump trucks etc. As such we ask that you do not bring your children with you. Provincials + Aurora Series Races
Wondering what all this talk is about Provincial and Aurora Series races? Well wonder no more, we have your answer!
Provincial Series Races: In a nutshell, they are weekend-long races held throughout the summer months at tracks throughout the province. Anyone with a valid License can participate. Races are organized exactly like they are at Stony, only much, much bigger. There can be upwards of 500 racers at these events, and motos can number into the 200’s! The provincials kick off in Medicine Hat. Provincial Race 1 is June 22, and Provincial race 2 is June 23. Provincial race 3 & 4 are at our home track July 20 & 21. Aurora Series Races: This is a like a mini provincial series for the northern clubs: Red Deer, Edmonton, St Albert and of course, US! Held on select Fridays throughout the summer, this mini race series is a super fun way to get to know racers and their families from our sister clubs of the North. Registration fees for this event go directly into prizing for participants – participation in each race results in ballots to win. All prizing is handed out at the wrap up race in August. This year’s schedule looks like this: June 14 – Edmonton July 12 – Stony Plain (night before Camp Cools) July 26 – St Albert August 23 – Red Deer (wrap up and prizing, you must be present to win)
