Bars
Handle bars on BMX bikes are normally just referred to as “Bars” There are 3 types of adjustments and modifications that can be done with bars:
forward/back lean - always start with bars set to the same angle as your front forks. Then adjust towards the seat if you find the bars are causing you to “reach” too far and you are having problems pumping fully (ie. should be able to touch your chest to the bar). If you find if feels like your knees are going to hit your bars, then adjust them away from the seat. Note that both of these adjustments tend to make the bike harder to steer.
